Short film celebrating the life of Annie Moore, the first immigrant to pass through Ellis Island, Written, produced, directed, and cast by 11-year-old Irish students from Scoil Oilibhéir in Cork, Ireland. The film features several locations identified by the students, including St. Patrick's Church, where Annie was baptized, and the house on Rowland Lane where she lived. story of Annie Moore’s journey to America, paralleled with the

press conference held at the New York Genealogical and Biographical
Society in September 2006, announcing the discovery of the “real”
Annie Moore. Learn about how Annie’s story was lost and another
Annie Moore assumed her place in history, as well as how the detective
