Jim McCrea - Fiddle, Jim had a background in Old Time and Blue Grass before dedicating himself to Irish music. Jim came to Airzona from Connecticut and has quckly become the band's "musical director". Voni Healey - Bodhran and Backup Vocals - Voni has not only played a big role in providing percussion and backup vocals, but has been just as important in bringing the musicians together. Mark Clark - Guitar - Mark played in a band back in
Michigan and has been essential in backing up both instrumentals and
vocals. Ann Kinahan - Whistle and backup vocals inc luding duets with Voni. George O'Brien - Vocals and whistle - George is the head of the Arizona Irish Music Society and is a vocalist for Audrey''s Angels which provides entertainment at nursing homes. He has guested with most of main local Irish bands including the Brazen Heads, Keltic Cowboys, Biffos, and the McMorrows. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ . Chris Floyd - Vocals and guitar - Chris has experience playing Irish material at the pubs and atsupporting instrumentalists as part of Paddy's Peg Leg. Gene Paquette - Whistle - Famous for his big display of whistles of various keys, Gene is a key instrumentalist. Jim Bidle - Bodhran - Jim is an excellent bodhran player who has been a big part of the combined band.

Emeralds
Rising is a collection of musicians who play traditional Irish music
and sing Irish songs (old and new) that range from fast "pub songs"
to ballads.. Emeralds Rising brings the excitement of a traditional
Irish seisiun with the up tempo songs of the pubs.. Emeralds Rising
features core players and special guests at their performaces. At the
pub Lis Doon Varna, Emeralds Rising goes by the name "Lisdoonvarna
Players".
