Relatively little is known about the day to day lives of the early Irish, but much can be learned through looking at their ancient legal system known as Brehon Law. No aspect of the lives of the early Irish was more important that agriculture, so it makes sense that the law reflected that. But the law reflected a very different society than the modern world.
