Hunger Memorial is a remembrance of those who died during the pototo blight
and was was designed by local artist Maureen Maguire. |

The Irish Cultural Center is a bus stop on the First Friday art walk. Each month, new works are featured from Irish and Irish American artists along with the permanent exhibit of historic photographs, dance dresses, and coal shoot rubbings. |

In addition to the art show, there is an Irish seisiun with musicians from the local Irish community including students from the Academy music classes. The Irish Cultural Center has a full bar and plenty of seating for people who want to enjoy the music. |
