THE GRAND CANYON CELTIC ARTS ACADEMY
JULY 13-15
The Grand Canyon Celtic Arts Academy is entering into it's second year of operation
and we have a definite treat in store for all attending! Not only are our instructors
from last year returning by popular demand, but we will have an additional instrumental
instructor and we may even have a class in storytelling! Brett Lipshutz, Randy
Gosa, and Devin McCabe are excited to return to Arizona to teach at Grand Canyon
Celtic Arts Academy and joining them this year will be Asher Gray, also from
Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Together, this quartet form an amazing group called Myserk.
You can check them out at www.myserk.com. More information is located below
about our wonderful instructors! The storytelling class will be taught by renowned
storyteller, Liz Warren, from Phoenix.
SAVE THE DATES: JULY 13-15, 2010 in Flagstaff, AZ at Northern Arizona University.
The Grand Canyon Celtic Arts Academy was extremely pleased with it's inaugural year, as were the participants. Classes were offered in fiddle, whistle, flute, banjo, bodhran, and guitar. Here are some comments from last year:
" I really enjoyed the instructor's method of teaching. I thought he broke down the lessons into understandable elements. I thought all three instructors added to the Academy learning of Celtic Music. "
"I really enjoyed improving my flute-playing at the Grand Canyon Celtic Arts Academy and had a blast at the sessions! I only wish it could have been longer!"
We took all the comments very seriously and have expanded the Academy. Classes are extended to 2 hours each and the Academy will be 3 days! We are able to offer additional instruction in multiple instruments from different instructors so you can make the most of your time and money! Listed below are classes that will be offered:
