The Expanded Irish Cultural Center Gift Shop run by Pat & Patty McCrossan, the former proprietors of Ireland's Own, is now open from 10:30 am until 6 pm Tuesday through Friday and from 10:30 am until 3 pm on Saturday. It will also be open for any ICC special events. Call (602) 254-6094.

I’ve been working to get the photos uploaded. Some of the updates of the last few weeks include the Festival pictures, Academy students pictures from the Festival and their concert on Dec 7, some shots of Karl Jones, Haidu Road, Rick Steve and Shannon, the Winter Solstice Celebration, and pictures of the newly reformed Keltic Cowboys. There are new pictures added to many of the bands including Brid Dower Band, the McMorrows, Brazen Heads, Knockabouts, Pat McCrossan, and Oceans Apart. On existing listings, the new photos are at the end of the photos.

There is a photo of the trophy the Gaels and some of the team celebrating at Rosies.

The Importance of Being Earnest

Earnest is the story of the formidable Lady Bracknell (one of theatre’s most enduring and hilarious comic characters) who is loathe to let her daughter marry a man with no parents. If a happy ending is to be reached, it may only be after enduring the many twists that accompany deception.

Greetings to All
Just letting you know that NghtShift will be performing News Year Eve at the Dubliner 40 th st and Thunderbird. Opening the show will be opened with the acoustic Irish Music of the "Rakes" followed by some of the hottest original Blues and Jump blues in AZ. The Chief is back!!!!

Hope to see you all ring the New Year at the Best Irish Pub in town....The Dubliner.

4. MEMO FROM TONY NORRIS

Dear George ,

A full moon crowned the solstice Friday and lit up the remaining snowcover from last week's twenty inch storm. Eight years of drought will make you whisper a blessing on a wet, deep snow. Today is crisp and clear and the whole family is here. Jake blew in from Denver and Aaron, Shannon and Ben will arrive any moment from Prescott. The house smells of toffee, oyster stew and juniper boughs. The whole fam damily is going to Sue's church for the children's Christmas pageant in a couple of hours [featuring 7 of 8 grandkids] and then back here for the tree and presents. I'm surprizingly un-Scrooge like this year. Not sure what that's all about.
