Blackwood

Blackwood is a traditional Celtic band combining fiery instrumental sets with driving vocal numbers and sensitive ballads. Their instrumental work is driven by the powerful combination of the fiddle playing of Jerica Leathers and the flute playing of Sven Henrich accentuated by the unique flavor of Dennis Putscher's lead and rhythm guitar. The band is often joined by a number of guest musicians including bodhran great Kevin King. Their songs cover an exciting mix of traditional and contemporary Irish, Scottish, and Folk.
